Breaking Strain est un groupe de punk rock en provenance de Clermont-Ferrand (63).

Le power trio pratique une musique abrasive et efficace, où se mêlent mélodies et riffs accrocheurs avec sincérité, honnêteté et sans concession.

« Life Game », leur nouvelle production, est la cinquième sortie du groupe, assuré par leur propre label Bunk records.

Misère sociale, génocide capitaliste, manipulation pharmaceutique, perte de proches sont les thèmes abordés au travers de ces 4 titres, clôturé par « Dub Your Mind », petite souplesse instrumentale.

Le groupe compose actuellement en vue de son premier album (enregistrement en 2011) et sera le sujet d’un documentaire (tournage début 2011), plus d’infos bientôt.

Breaking Strain is a punk rock band from Clermont-Ferrand, France.

Formed in 2004, the punk rock trio plays sharply and austerely mixing melodic passages with absorbing guitar riffs, all delivered with sincerity, honesty, and warmth.

« Life Game » is the name of their fifth and most recent EP, produced by their own label : Bunk Records.

Through their 4 titles, the band explores the themes of social misery, capitalist genocide, medical alienation but also bereavement. The EP ends up with Dub your mind, a punk dub instrumental title.

The band is now working toward the release of its first album (recording planned for 2011) and will soon be the subject of a documentary (early 2011). More information to come later.
